I have seen a company contacting people to write fake reviews in exchange for money for Glengorm castle even if they'd never been. I'm not sure if this is anything official to do with the castle, but bare in mind when reading the reviews that many of them they may be fake. Very suspicious.
If you are looking for a secluded place with spectacular scenery and superb accommodation, look no further than the beautiful Terrace Flat in Glengorm Castle. I just spent a week there along with a group of three others. The apartment is so spacious and well- appointed. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, the spectacular views, and the 5,000 acres to hike. We made good use of the deep, cast iron claw- foot tub. A wonderful vacation!
Staying in one of their holiday cottages - Dunara Cottage, amazing location, lovely cottage. Here for the week, we do not want to leave - lol!!!
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Glengorm Castle. From the moment we drove up to the second we left everything was perfect. The lounge, games room, dining room and reading room had a lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere and the room we stayed in (Torr) was large and beautifully decorated and furnished with off room toilet and a huge bath. The breakfasts were delicious. We had 4 nights B&B.
We have today just booked a 7 night stay in the Terrace Flat for nxt July.

Superb location, views to die for, breakfast excellent, staff friendly and helpful
The views are beyond fantastic
My wife and I stayed in the Ardmore room, really nice, if a little weird, I say weird because if you are used to top quality hotels then don’t expect that sort of treatment.
It’s really here’s your wonderful room enjoy…do not get me wrong the quirkiness is really appealing and adds to the charm, it’s a fair drive from the ferry on single track road.
The coffee shop which is close by is excellent and very reasonably priced.
I would love to return with the family next year, many thanks
Booked the castle for a March 2020 visit, however COVID closed down UK, so we could not visit. Had to cancel the visit, but got an email that said "I confirm I have cancelled your reservation, we are offering to carry deposits forward to a booking in the future." Tried to book a stay using my deposit, but got "I am afraid I cannot carry forward your deposit as too long has lapsed now." Well, guess I will not be visiting. Seems shortsighted to not credit me for money I spent, since I would have spent a good deal more, but I guess business is good so no need to honor what you say.
Lovely Guest House style accommodation in a unique building and location. We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The owner has a collection of whiskeys that you can try which is really useful if you want to work out what you like before you buy anything at the local distilleries. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and decorated well. The breakfast was great - there's a nice option of hot options and cold options. They also accommodate for dairy intolerance.
The views from the castle in the morning and evening are spectacular, I'd highly recommend spending an evening in one of the lounges watching the sunset.
